Hi Eric! We highly discourage storing credentials or sensitive data in RightScale in any form other than the credentials store, where it is well protected. In terms of what is visible to employees, of course there is a need-to-know rule, but in general, we work rather closely with our customers and look into the details of what is happening rather frequently on their request to help them troubleshoot or improve their operation. I actually collected the stats primarily based on the names of things, I didn't have the time to read tens of thousands of server templates. ;-)
