Description
Backs up data and logs volumes by creating a volume backup and using Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) to freeze disk activity on data files. Note that VSS does not guarantee consistency of log files. Alternatively, this script can create a differential or full SQL Server backup of all databases (including system ones, i.e. master, model and msdb) and upload the backup to remote storage. Amazon S3 and Rackspace Cloud Files are currently supported.
