Description
This script creates new data and log volumes or restores the volumes from previous backup. Specify the type of backup to restore from using the BACKUP_METHOD input. To force new volume creation instead of restoring, use the OPT_FORCE_CREATE_VOLUMES input. After setting up the volumes, the script moves system databases (or switches SQL Server to system databases on restored volumes) and creates disk monitoring for data and log volumes.
