Description

Chef-based ServerTemplate that configures MySQL database servers that act as either a Master-DB or Slave-DB. It's specifically designed for RightScale's Manager for MySQL. Database Snapshots to Amazon S3 or Rackspace CloudFiles are used for database backups.

IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN ALPHA VERSION OF A CHEF TEMPLATE. IT SHOULD ONLY BE USED OR TESTING PURPOSES AND NEVER IN PRODUCTION DEPLOYMENTS. THE TEMPLATE MAY GO THROUGH SIGNIFICANT CHANGES BEFORE IT IS OFFICIALLY RELEASED. YOU ARE WELCOME TO USE IT AND WE APPRECIATE FEEDBACK.

This ServerTemplate has been tested against the following MCIs:
