Description
Product Overview
The Stingray Free Developer Edition by Riverbed makes the complete ADC technology platform available to everyone on your team, helping you develop applications faster, test them in a production-identical environment, and bring them to market more quickly. Stingray Traffic Manager (STM) is a software-based ADC that provides unprecedented scale and flexibility to deliver applications across the widest range of environments, from physical and virtual data centers to public and hybrid clouds. Stingray Traffic Manager provides enterprises with capabilities far beyond traditional load balancing technologies.
Stingray Application Firewall is a scalable and application-aware firewall offering the highest protection and performance in Web and cloud application security. Protect against known and unknown attacks at the application layer (e.g., OWASP Top10). Secure your applications, meet compliance requirements with confidence and manage cookie privacy authentication.
Stingray Aptimizer provides web content optimization technology. It automatically makes web pages faster without a developer having to do additional work to optimize the behavior and performance of each web page. High traffic public-facing web pages, corporate websites, e-commerce sites, business productivity tools, and custom applications are transformed for faster delivery, lower bandwidth requirements, and better user experience. This version has a bandwidth limit of 1Mbps and 100 SSL TPS and may only be used for non-production use. It may not be used for any services that are run on a commercial basis or for commercial gain. A range of ‘Paid for’ versions are available with up to a bandwidth limit of 5 Gbps with unlimited SSL TPS.
