Description
Riverbed® Stingray™ Traffic Manager – 500 series is a software and virtual Layer 7 application delivery controller (ADC) that enables enterprises to create, manage, and deliver key services more quickly, more flexibly, and at a lower cost. The Stingray Traffic Manager 500 series offers load balancing and a range of other features that are just not available in open source alternatives.
This robust, fully supported load balancer is easy to use and manage. There is a clear upgrade path to fully featured solutions (Stingray 1000 and 2000 series - -some models offer our web application firewall) as your requirements develop.
This version is limited to a bandwidth of 10 Mbps and 100 SSL TPS. Smaller and larger versions are available. The cost is only $0.155 per hour.

This version of the Stingray ServerTemplate line introduces support with RightScale's "lb" interface in order to provide elasticity and autoscaling. Images were also added in order to provide support for Azure and Google as clouds.
